For my IT650: Principles of Database Design course, our term project was to create a proposal for an entirely new database management system (DBMS). The DBMS was to be created for a vinyl record shop that historically had been operating off of pen and paper. My proposal includes research behind a DBMS, various options, legal and ethics considerations, the entire database entity relationship diagram and SQL scripts, and a presentation for the stakeholder.
